PRESIDENT

Erin Murphy

Hi! My name is Erin and I am a senior studying Biomedical Engineering. I am the President of the Society of Women Engineers for this year. I have been a member of SWE since my freshman year and it has been a huge part of my college experience. Previously I have held the position of Social Chair my junior year and have been apart of the outreach committee since my freshman year. SWE has given me an amazing support system and many friends. It has also allowed me to grow as a professional and build a network. It has been a great way of getting to know other girls that are going through, or have completed, the same classes as me. On campus, I am also part of the Women in Engineering Mentor Program. Outside of SWE, I love to play with my dog and go to the beach.

VICE PRESIDENT

Marin Oehler

Hi everyone! My name is Marin and I am a senior Biomedical Engineering major and Cell and Molecular Biology minor. SWE is my favorite part about college and I am so excited to be our Vice President this year! Previously, I was a part of our Outreach Committee during my freshman and sophomore years, and was the Outreach Chair during my junior year. I absolutely love SWE outreach events, professional development workshops, and meeting so many amazing women in the engineering field. Outside of SWE, I enjoy cooking/baking, trying new restaurants, and hiking!

TREASURER

Adriana Williams

Hi my name is Adriana Williams, I am this years treasurer! I am a senior Ocean Engineering major with a specialty in coastal and acoustics. I’ve been part of SWE since my freshman year, I was the historian last year. I am part of other clubs on campus such as the communication chair/mentor for the Women In Engineering Mentor Program (WEM), part of the club swim team, and the president of the Scuba Club. I absolutely love anything with the water and you’ll always find me by the ocean! I’m very excited for this year as your treasurer and being even more involved with SWE!
